A customer is facing a labor audit from either the State or Federal Labor Departments.
QuikServe is able to provide restaurants with Time Punch Reports which in turn, are given to the auditor as record of hours worked for each employee. These reports can be generated for any date range within the time span that QuikServe has collected data for their organization. The reports can be provided within one day´s notice.
A customer is facing a lawsuit from a current or previous employee and needs a record of the hours worked in a within a certain date range for that particular person.
QuikServe can provide this or other time punch information in order for the customer to refute claims. These claims can include mandated break procedures not being followed or a minor employee worked outside of the timeframe allowed by child labor laws. We are able to provide time punch records for a specific employee by request from the Account Manager within a three hour notice.
A QSPOS customer has concerns of potential theft and wants to check their records for any issues.
The E-Audit program allows a customer to access POS data and filter it in order to see all tickets created within a certain day and at a certain location. The program then filters them by a specific cashier, specific menu item, and any ticket with a refund, void, cancelled item, etc. You are also able to filter the audit by order destinations, method of payment, drawer number, and orders processed with a coupon or discount.
For example, a customer may view all tickets created by a certain cashier and find out that he/she is creating an unusual amount of tickets where all items have been cancelled except one low cost item. This would alert them to a possible misuse of the POS item-cancel function. The consolidated reports give an item cancel total for the day and the E-Audit program would allow them to research this amount down to the ticket level.
A customer is required to accommodate new minimum wage laws.
QuikServe is able to coordinate the wage change with a customer´s restaurants by creating a report that highlights which employees are assigned a pay rate below a certain amount. We can also provide hours-worked data in a specific date range in case the wage change occurs in the middle of a pay period. This saves a customer´s payroll department from having to calculate different rates on different days within the same pay period.
A new-hire employee is closing for the first time and is unsure of the proper QSPOS procedures.
Whenever an employee hits a roadblock while using the POS system, our Technical Support Team is just a phone call away. A Helpdesk employee will be available and able to answer those questions, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

To avoid downtime, customers can enroll in the Advance Depot Replacement plan. This service allows the customer to receive a working piece of hardware from QuikServe without having to wait for the broken equipment to be returned to the warehouse, repaired and then shipped back to the restaurant. Once a customer obtains the functioning hardware, our 24-hours Technical Support Team assists restaurant personnel with proper installation.
A customer forgets to enter a deposit amount in their day-end report.
With QuikServe´s reporting services, there are measures and guidelines in place to ensure accurate data is gathered every day. Whether it´s a deposit or an inventory amount that is forgotten, we have the tools to flag any problems in the data before it is sent out to the company.
A customer is adding a new promotional or menu item and is unsure of the costs.
We can provide the food and paper costs which can be used to help determine the retail price. Likewise, when considering raising menu prices, by providing the cost by PLU and Sales Mix history, we can show how the adjusted prices will affect the gross profit. The Sales Mix data which we store can be used in the future by companies to determine the success of a promotion.
A multi-unit operator is away from their restaurants and is unable to view their report data.
A PDA Report, which can be viewed from a cell phone or handheld mobile device, is a great tool to keep informed. This consolidated report provides the sales, the percentage increase or decrease as compared to last year, the labor percent and the cash over and short for the day by restaurant.
A multi-unit operator wants to monitor the results from one restaurant compared to other units within the company.
QuikServe provides a Key Performance Indicator report that not only monitors these results but also those of same-concept restaurants participating in the data pool.
