A PC-based software, QuikAudit monitors trends or discrepancies within the Point-of-Sale, safeguarding against fraud. Throughout the business day, any transaction that is keyed into the terminal is tracked into a file. At the end of the night, it is then compressed and stored on the PC. The files remain on a rolling 31-day basis. The QuikAudit software offers several different filters that sort through the day’s orders to allow for a diagnosis of issues from tracking trends to investigating unusual or large voids, cancelled orders and/or deleted items. QuikAudit has been successfully used to prosecute former employees of restaurants, by providing evidence of theft.
